Sara's note: I made the first Serefina as an experiment — to see what would happen if I stacked the shells. I wasn't planning a collection. I was just curious. When I held it up and saw three shells falling long down the neck, I knew immediately this was something. That's still my favorite moment in the studio — the one where something becomes what it was always supposed to be.
